 Google said earlier this week that it is expanding the use of artificial intelligence throughout its platform by making Bard, a competitor to the Microsoft-backed ChatGPT, available in 180 countries.




At the yearly Google developers conference in Silicon Valley, executives said that the company's top search engine will also benefit from the usage of generative AI.


Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, told the throng of engineers at the event, "We have been deploying AI for a long; with generative AI we are taking the next step. "We are reimagining all of our core products, including search," he said.


SEARCH RACING TO CATCH UP

Google is attempting to overtake competitor Microsoft, which has hurried to incorporate ChatGPT-like features in a variety of its products, including the Bing search engine.
